Ingredients

100g melted milk chocolate (2/3 cup)
2tsp salted caramel
1 ferrero rocher
edible lustre spray (silver)

If you are a fan of star wars you will love this chocolate death star made out of chocolate with a salted caramel and ferrero rocher filling finished in silver spray!

You will need two essential things here to help make the chocolate death star possible……

You will need both the death star mould and a can of this edible silver spray with that all in place you are all set to go! It takes a few hours to make this, but is so worth it with the salted caramel and ferrero rocher surprise in the middle!

Start off by melting your milk chocolate, I found that white chocolate did not work so well for this so use milk if you can. Add it to the bottom half of the death star mould and then gradually work it up the sides coating to form a small shell. Put this in the fridge for 5 minutes to firm slightly.

Next add in some salted caramel, spoon this in and the weight of it should be supported by the chocolate we already added in. If it does not, we have a problem! Plunge the ferrero rocher into the caramel and again fridge for 5 minutes to firm up. Add the rest of the chocolate making sure it is room temperature so it will not melt the ferrero rocher! Add the lid of the death star mould and fill all the way to the top tapping lightly to level off and remove air bubbles. Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours to fully firm up.

Remove from the freezer and pop the death star out of the moulds. Next get the silver spray and coat the chocolate, I did this in two coats, giving it an hour in between to dry to get a really good colour on the outside. Let this dry for say another hour at room temperature then you are ready to eat and my goodness is is worth it!

The milk chocolate with the salted caramel and ferrero rocher is incredible!! You must give this a go, enjoy this chocolate death star and let me know how you get on!
